Maintain Roofing Systems

Protect Against Corrosion

  • Advanced Water-Based Formula with Corrosion Inhibitors
  • High Reflectivity (80%) = Lower Interior Temperatures
  • One-step Process
  • Low Odor
  • VOC Compliant

Standing Between A Building And The Elements

Maintain is recommended over new and aged galvanized and galvalume metals including properly prepared factory finishes.

Metal surfaces require protection from the elements such as acid rain, galvanic corrosion, water and atmospheric oxygen corrosion. With the combination of these three elements, steel surfaces quickly form into hydrated iron oxide, commonly known as rust. Protect your investments with Maintainä. Its reflective surface and attractive appearance, combined with proven resistance to steel corrosion and weathering, make its performance tough to beat.

One Coat Coverage

Conklin’s Maintainä was developed specifically for applications to new and aged galvanized steel. Maintain is a “white” water-based maintenance coating with the addition of two anticorrosive additives. Until recently, water-based coatings were designed as a finish coat over vinyl wash primers and metal alkyd primers. Today, the traditional two-step process is eliminated with our one product, Maintain, a finish coat with outstanding anticorrosion properties.

A Single Coat Of Maintainä:

  • Dries generally within four to eight hours
  • Produces a white, low sheen finish
  • Inhibits light to medium rust
  • Is environmentally safe (VOC compliant)
  • Cool Roofs

As a “white” finish coat, Maintain can reduce energy costs of building by decreasing the amount of heat transferred to building interiors. In agribusinesses, facility designs for poultry production, swine production or other animals are concerned with heat stress. Heat stress typically affects cash flow by creating an adverse effect on rate of production and morality. By reducing the heat transferred into the building interior, heat stress can be reduced and cooling effectiveness achieved. With high reflectivity, Maintain will keep buildings cooler and provide increased profits from production as well as lower energy costs to cool a building’s interior.
